PhD Student @ USM/LMU & MPE
I am a PhD student in the joint research group of the
Extragalactic
Astronomy group at the University Observatory Munich
(Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich) and
the OPINAS group at the Max
Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics.
Furthermore, I am an on-site observer at the
USM's Wendelstein
Observatory.
My primary research focus revolves around ultra-diffuse galaxies and
the broader study of dwarf galaxy populations within clusters. To
conduct my investigations, I employ multi-colour photometric data
obtained using the Wendelstein-Wide-Field-Imager (WWFI). In addition
to my research pursuits, I also possess a keen interest in the field
of photometric data reduction to reach the precision required for low
surface brightness photometry.
