Welcome to my homepage!
I am a physicist completing my master thesis at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (LMU). My work focuses on the study of protoclusters of galaxies with the use of cosmological zoom simulations. Galaxy clusters are the most massive virialized objects in the universe. They are featured in many disussions about cosmological models, structure formation and galaxy evolution. Nevertheless, their high redshift projenitors, called protoclusters, are very uknown! I use hydrodynamical simulations to explore which processes may have taken place in protoclusters so that we end up with the structures that we observe today.
